Young actress Jiah Khan who appeared in three successful Bollywood movies: Nishabd, Ghajini, Housefull 2 committed suicide in her apartment on 3rd June’2012. She was born in New York City and lived in London before moving to Mumbai for pursuing her career in Bollywood. The news of her suicide has upset her fans and sent her co-stars including Amitabh Bachchan in a state of shock.
Police claimed that she was heartbroken after a failed relationship with the son of an actor couple which possibly drove her to take the step at her home last night. As per reports, she had been depressed for some time due to personal issues, but was keen on returning to acting soon. She was also meeting filmmakers regarding projects. She recently returned from an audition at Hyderabad, which unnamed sources said had upset her as it didn’t go as per her expectations.
