Analysis of people’s perception on India’s Champions trophy win

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s team created history by winning the coveted Champions Trophy title by beating England in a rain curtailed final of the 2013 ICC champions Trophy. Mahendra Singh Dhoni is now the first captain ever to win all three major ICC tournaments and considering the fact that this was the last edition of Champions trophy, this is a record that may never be broken.

The young team India comprising of talented newcomers of the likes of Shikhar Dhawan have proven that they have the capability of filling the void left after the retirement of India’s Fab Four: Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman.

The Indian team won the trophy in style by winning all the games; they played in this year’s edition of Champions trophy.
