The recent win of Nitish Kumar’s (RJD) and Lalu Yadav’s (JDU) alliance in the Bihar Election Results of 2015, has been the topic of conversations in the world of social media. This was the second big defeat, faced by BJP after Delhi. A lot of people took to twitter and other social media platforms to discuss their sentiments on this news.
We used our social media management software, myRosys, and analyzed what people actually felt about the exit poll results.
Social media monitoring around the Bihar election results gives the most prominent keywords with the help of words cloud analysis. The report clearly shows that Bihar, defeat, nitish, etc. have been the most talked about words.
The sentiment analysis shows the orientation of sentiments of the people talking about the topic. It is clear, that most people are in favor of the results or neutral about it, with very few who are unhappy with it.
The Network Noise analysis shows the networks from which the data has been fetched. It also tells us the peak hours and day on which the activity has been the most. The day the results were talked about the most, is on the 8th October, 2015, the day they were declared.
